Which Kamado Joe should you buy?
-
Classic Joe (46 cm, 250 sq in of cooking space): the all-rounder for most backyards. Grill, smoke, roast and bake on one ceramic cooker.
-
Big Joe (61 cm, 450 sq in): for big families, entertaining and long cooks where you need room for several cuts at once.
-
Konnected Joe (digital): press the Automatic Fire Starter to light the charcoal, set a temperature on the Kontrol Board or the Kamado Joe app, and the Kontrol Fan holds it there. Kamado Joe rates it from 107Β°C to 370Β°C (225Β°F to 700Β°F), and Classic mode lets you run it the traditional way. It needs a 220β240 V power point for the digital features. Comes in 46 cm and Big Joe 61 cm sizes.
Want charcoal flavour without babysitting vents? Go Konnected. Love running the fire yourself? Go Classic Joe or Big Joe.
Starter or Pitmaster bundle?
Our bundles pair a Kamado Joe with the gear most owners end up buying anyway, at a lower price than buying each piece separately. Starter bundles add a fitted cover and a couple of key accessories, like a cast iron half griddle and grate lifter. Pitmaster bundles go further with Kamado Joe's Krafted steel tools and a bag of lump charcoal. Compare the Big Joe Konnected Starter Bundle and the Big Joe Konnected Pitmaster Bundle to see the difference. Each bundle page lists exactly what's in the box.

Kamado Joe FAQs
Which is better, Classic Joe or Big Joe?
Neither; it's about size. Classic Joe (46 cm) suits most families. Big Joe (61 cm) suits big gatherings and long cooks with lots of meat.
Do Kamado Joe accessories fit a Big Green Egg?
Yes. Classic-size accessories fit a Large Big Green Egg and Big Joe-size accessories fit an XL.
What's the difference between Konnected Joe and a standard Kamado Joe?
Konnected Joe adds push-button charcoal lighting, a fan that holds your set temperature and app control. A standard Kamado Joe is controlled by hand with the vents.
How hot does a Kamado Joe get?
Kamado Joe rates the Konnected Joe from 107Β°C to 370Β°C (225Β°F to 700Β°F), so it covers low-and-slow smoking through to pizza and searing.
Can I leave my Kamado Joe outside?
Yes, they're built for outdoors. A fitted Kamado Joe cover protects the metal parts and gasket from the weather, and keeps the Konnected Joe's electronics dry.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on stock. Special-order Kamado Joe products arrive 2 to 3 weeks from your order, or you can pick up from Ingleburn.
