The Kamado Joe Heavy-Duty Grill Cover in Big Joe size is the full-length cover for 61 cm Big Joe kamados on their carts, including the Big Joe Konnected Joe. A Big Joe is a lot of grill to leave out in the weather, and this cover goes over the dome, base, hinge and cart in one piece.
It's made from 100% solution-dyed polyester. The colour is part of the fibre rather than printed on top, so it holds up to UV rather than fading and going brittle after a few Australian summers. A buckle strap around the base stops it lifting in the wind.
On a Big Joe Konnected Joe the cover matters more than on a standard kamado: the Kontrol Board, fan and power connections shouldn't sit out in the rain.
What It Does
Keeps water out
Rain sitting in the firebox, soaking the gasket and charcoal, or rusting the hinge and bands is what ages a kamado. A full-length waterproof cover keeps all of it dry between cooks.
Protects the Konnected electronics
Kamado Joe says not to expose the Konnected Joe's controller to rain or water. Covering it when it's cold is the easiest way to look after the Kontrol Board and fan.
Stays put in the wind
The buckle strap cinches the cover around the grill so a gusty afternoon doesn't leave it in the neighbour's yard.
Fits and Compatibility
- Kamado Joe Big Joe Konnected Joe
- Kamado Joe Big Joe II and Big Joe III on their carts
- Other Big Joe series grills on a cart
Doesn't fit: Classic Joe size grills (46 cm), including the Classic-size Konnected Joe. Those need the Classic Joe Heavy-Duty Grill Cover. It's made for cart-mounted grills, not standalone grills built into a table.

Care and Maintenance

- Let it dry fully before folding it away so it doesn't go mouldy.
FAQs
Will it fit my Big Joe Konnected Joe?
Yes. It's the Big Joe size cover, made for 61 cm Big Joe grills on their carts, including the Konnected model.
Does it cover the side shelves?
Fold the side shelves down first, then the cover goes over the grill and the cart.
Do I need a cover on a ceramic grill?
The ceramic handles the weather, but the hinge, bands, gasket, vents, cart and, on a Konnected Joe, the electronics last longer kept dry. It also keeps water out of the charcoal.

🤔Who is Sydney BBQs❓
Meet Erik & Suzie, the dynamic duo behind Sydney BBQs & Rotisseries!
Our journey began in 2019, amidst the whirlwind of early parenthood. We decided to embark on a little side venture, leveraging our shared passion of BBQ. Having grown up with family BBQs, almost on a weekly basis, charcoal and sizzling grills felt like old friends to us.Our humble beginnings saw us selling charcoal from the confines of our garage. To our surprise, the demand was huge, with pallet loads flying off the shelves faster than we could stock them. It was clear we had stumbled upon something special. Fast forward five years, and our little side gig has blossomed into a comprehensive online emporium. From charcoal to rubs, grills to rotisseries, and an array of accessories including spit baskets, gyro discs, skewers, gloves, smoker tubes, and beyond, we've got all your BBQ needs covered. But it doesn't stop there. With loyal customers all over Australia, we're thrilled to announce the next chapter in our story: The grand opening of our very own shopfront. It's been an incredible journey, and we couldn't have done it without the unwavering support of our BBQ community. Here's to many more years of sizzling success!
We’ve built Sydney BBQs & Rotisseries with passion, and our customers have been a huge part of that journey. See what they say about us!
