from 820 reviewsThe grill is well made and definitely heavy-duty, weighing approximately 27 kg. The heat distribution is even, and it cooked my satay very well - crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. I had my grill delivered all the way to Perth, and it was worth it. Highly recommended for a charcoal grill.
I bought the Classic Charcoal BBQ Grill from their store, and I couldn't be any more satisfied with it! Well packaged, exactly as described, cheaper than others and great quality! The owners are also lovely people :)
A very good quality salt. Reliable consistency and cost effective when bought in the 3kg pack
Would never season chicken another way ! Thanks for the great tip !!
Just a great bit of gear, the guys at Sydney bbqs are very helpful and super easy going.

Would definitely get this charcoal again thank you for selling a fantastic product
The counter balance works perfectly.
Great to use easy as to get alight will not be going back to heat beads
Top value, easy to deal with from the purchase experience, to delivery, and assembly; it is an intuitive assembly process that took only minutes.
Once it was assembled, I jumped in and lit my first fire. Good experience, essy to use, and I love it that the BBQ has its own firebox inset. That makes it safer and really easy to clean after use.
This BBQ is a deluxe unit, and really nails the job for which it was designed.
I've owned several steel Cyprus-style rotisserie charcoal grills, and they haven't come close to the quality build of this unit. I particularly appreciate the heavy duty skewers, with large sized handles. The design and material choice details of this BBQ set it apart from the rest.
It is not "cheap" — quality throughout — so I know it'll last for many years to come. Good value all round and the service from the team was top-notch!
They have great prices and range of BBQs on display and the service is excellent! Highly recommend!
Bought atomic chicken salt and a salt and vinegar powder, awesome products and fast delivery.

How to Light Charcoal
Lighting charcoal can be simple and efficient when done the right way. Follow these steps to get your charcoal ready for grilling, smoking, or cooking in no time:
1. Gather Your Supplies
- Charcoal chimney starter
- Charcoal (lump or briquettes)
- Firelighters or crumpled newspaper
- A lighter or match
2. Prepare the Chimney Starter
- Place your charcoal chimney starter on a heat-resistant surface or directly on the grill grates.
- Fill the bottom section with crumpled newspaper or place 2-3 firelighters underneath.
3. Add the Charcoal
- Fill the top section of the chimney starter with your desired amount of charcoal.
4. Ignite the Firelighters or Newspaper
- Light the firelighters or newspaper through the vents at the bottom of the chimney starter.
- Allow the flames to ignite the charcoal gradually.
5. Wait for the Charcoal to Heat
- Let the charcoal heat up for about 10-15 minutes. You'll know it's ready when the top coals are glowing red, and the edges are covered in white ash.
6. Pour and Arrange the Charcoal
- Using heat-resistant gloves, carefully pour the hot charcoal into your grill or smoker.
- Arrange the coals as needed for direct or indirect cooking.
7. Start Cooking
- Place your cooking grate over the hot charcoal, and you're ready to start grilling or smoking.
