cajun popcorn prawns

Cajun prawns or shrimp as my American friends call them, that is insanely delicious, slightly spicy and only takes 10 minutes to make is the kind of starter or meal that dreams are made of! This recipe will knock your socks off and it will be something that the whole family will go crazy over!
Perfect with a cold beer or two!
what you need
- Vegetable oil: this is used for frying the prawns in
- Prawns peeled and deveined with the tales removed
- Flour: the binding of the egg and seasonings to the prawns
- Two eggs
- 250ml milk
- 2 cups
- 2 cups panko crumbs
- 6tbsp Smokey Joe's Cajun seasoning
what to do
Heat the oil to 180c degrees.
In a small bowl whisk together the flour & half the Cajun seasoning
In another small bowl whisk together the eggs and milk.
In another small bowl add the Panko and rest of Cajun seasoning
Start by coating the prawns in the flour mixture.
Next dredge in the egg mixture
then
Lastly coat in the Cajun Panko crumbs
Remove with a metal slotted spoon and transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel. minutes. (2-3 min if prawns are small)
